New Maryland officials want better Orioles relations

New Maryland Gov. Wes Moore and new Maryland Stadium Authority Chair Craig Thompson  are taking steps to improve their relationship with the Orioles with Moore on Friday saying that his administration is "'moving fast’ to secure a new long-term lease with the Orioles.” Thompson said that he “hopes to build a relationship” with team Chair & CEO  John Angelos  "built on trust.” Thompson: “From my perspective, any next communications with John are still relationship-building.” Moore, Thompson and Angelos visited Truist Park in Atlanta, which Moore said was to “study ‘best practices’ for entertainment areas around ballparks."
