DAVID KOCH JR. has updated his LinkedIn page to show he is a “basketball operations assistant” for the Nets three months after his family bought a stake in Nets parent company BSE Global , according to Brian Lewis of the N.Y. POST. Of the three Koch children, David "has the greatest interest in basketball." However, it is “unclear exactly what the 25-year-old Duke grad would be doing in the role.” A source said that 20 years from now, “David Jr. could very well end up owning an NBA team.” Lewis noted Koch worked for the Knicks for almost two years as a membership experience exec. Sources said that even before buying the 15% stake in BSE, the family had "interest in the NBA” and had “reached out around the league to inquire about how to run a team.” But Lewis noted the Koch family’s purchase does "not offer a direct path to control” ( N.Y. POST, 9/21 ).
