Royals add new Chick-fil-A ads on foul poles at Kauffman Stadium

The foul poles down the left- and right-field lines at Kauffman Stadium have new Chick-fil-A advertising that has been recently added, according to Pete Grathoff of the K.C. STAR. The Royals are calling the poles the “Fowl Poles." If a Royals player "hits one off a foul pole, everyone at that day’s game will get a free Chick-fil-A sandwich." If the Royals "turn a double play in the second inning, fans will get a five-piece chicken nuggets." A QR code will "appear on the CrownVision board allowing fans the opportunity to get the freebie." Despite the new ads and promotion, there is not a Chick-fil-A at Kauffman Stadium ( K.C. STAR, 7/19 ).
