Belichick to appear on every Manningcast in '24

Former Patriots coach Bill Belichick will “appear on every episode” of ESPN’s Manningcast during the 2024 NFL season, “typically early in each game.” Pro Football HOFer Peyton Manning  in an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" Friday noted that he told Belichick, “If you ever run out of things to say, just make fun of Eli, right?” He added, “That’s always sort of a time-filler, and Bill doesn’t like Eli. We all know that -- two Super Bowls -- so it’s just a match made in heaven.” Along with joining the Manningcast, Belichick also “plans to make regular appearances on The Pat McAfee Show throughout the 2024 campaign” ( SI, 5/10 ).  Manning’s “dream of teaming up with his former rival has been made official” ( N.Y. POST, 5/11 ). It is a “win-win” and there will be “interest in what Belichick has to say.” In order for teams to be interested in hiring Belichick, he “needs to make himself more likable,” or, “as the case may be, likable” ( NBCSPORTS.com, 5/10 ).
