Chiefs-Bills on Sunday delivered the best NFL Divisional Round audience on record, with CBS pulling in 50.4 million viewers. It’s the first Divisional game to pass 50 million viewers and passes the previous record of 48.5 million that Fox drew in 2017 for Packers-Cowboys. Chiefs-Bills is higher than three of the last five AFC Championship numbers on CBS, and better than each of the last five NFC Championship game audiences on Fox. Sunday’s primetime game peaked at 56.3 million viewers and is easily the best program on TV since the Super Bowl last February. Chiefs-Bills is up 10% from 45.7 million viewers for 49ers-Cowboys on Fox in the same window last year.
