Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is "in talks to sell a minority stake in the team, Hard Rock Stadium, and F1 Miami" to hedge-fund manager Ken Griffin , according to multiple sources. The NFL is also aware. Ross is said to be "considering the sale to bring in additional money" so he can "make more sports and real-estate investments," according to a source ( X, 11/21 ). No deal has been finalized and "it’s possible Ross could sell the stakes to a buyer other than Griffin" ( BLOOMBERG NEWS, 11/21 ). The minority stake available is "a significant, non voting stake," and other potential investors "are also kicking the tires," according to a source. One source "pegs the enterprise value of the assets for sale at north of" $7B ( FORBES, 11/21 ).
