Expected top picks to attend NFL, WNBA drafts

Thirteen prospects have "accepted invitations to the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit," which begins on April 25. The list is headlined by possible No. 1 overall pick USC QB Caleb Williams , along with LSU QB Jayden Daniels and North Carolina QB Drake Maye . That means it is "possible that the first three picks of the draft" will be in attendance ( NFL.com, 4/11 ).

Iowa G Caitlin Clark and LSU F Angel Reese headline a list of 15 college players who "have been invited to the WNBA draft on Monday." Clark is "expected to go first to the Indiana Fever" in what is the second consecutive year that the Fever have the top pick ( AP, 4/11 ).
