Stars launch Victory+ app with kickoff event

The Stars held an event in Deep Ellum last night to "celebrate the launch" of the Victory+ app , a free direct-to-consumer streaming service created by A Parent Media Co. Inc. where in-market fans can watch Dallas' hockey team in the upcoming season. The event featured Stars Pres and CEO  Brad Alberts , APMC CEO  Neil Gruninger , Stars play-by-play announcer  Josh Bogorad , color analyst  Daryl Reaugh , head coach  Pete DeBoer , forward  Matt Duchene  and members of comedy group Dude Perfect. The Stars "unveiled new graphics and a theme song for the Victory+ broadcasts." The first Victory+ broadcast will be Sept. 21 for the Stars' preseason game against the Blues ( DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 9/11 ).
