N'Western signs field sponsor for temporary venue

Northwestern and Northwestern Medicine have reached an agreement on a two-year naming-rights partnership that brands the school's temporary stadium as Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium. The NCAA approved the commercial sponsor advertisement on football fields starting in 2024, making this one of the first field naming partnerships in the country under these new rules. The Northwestern football, soccer and lacrosse teams will play most of their games at the temporary stadium  for the next two years while the new Ryan Field -- set to be open by the start of the 2026 season --  is under construction . The football team will also play two games at Wrigley Field in 2024 ( Northwestern ).
