Fresh off reports that it will quadruple its take from media rights in a deal agreed to earlier this week, the WNBA has added DraftKings as an official sportsbook sponsor, joining FanDuel in a category split that mirrors the NBA’s.
Along with rights to use team and league IP, DraftKings gets the ability to promote at league events, including the WNBA All-Star Game. The sportsbook also will serve as presenting sponsor of a new “WNBA Post-Season Push” campaign that will spotlight playoff races during the final two weeks of the regular season in September, featuring hightlights and odds updates promoted across social and digital platforms.
DraftKings has been co-official sportsbook of the NBA since 2021. FanDuel added its WNBA official sportsbook designation as part of an extension of its daily fantasy deal with the league in 2022.
