Ticket prices for Stanley Cup Final games in Edmonton expected to reach record highs

Ticket prices for the Stanley Cup Final games at Edmonton's Rogers Place -- Game 3 on June 13, Game 4 on June 15 and, potentially Game 6 on June 21 -- are “expected to reach record highs,” according to Gerry Moddejonge of the EDMONTON JOURNAL. Game 4 is currently the “most expensive Oilers game on record,” with an average purchase price of $1,106. That is “71 per cent more expensive than Game 1 of the series ($646) and 72 per cent more than Game 2 ($642)” -- both taking place at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Fla. The second most expensive Oilers game on record is Game 3, “which has an average purchase price of $872” ( EDMONTON JOURNAL, 6/4 ).
