Oilers set single-game merch sales record in Game 6

The Oilers set a single-game merchandise sales record for the first three rounds of the Stanley Cup playoffs during the team’s Game 6 win over the Stars Sunday night, topping the previous sales record by 13%. Rank + Rally handles retail and merchandise sales for the Oilers at Rogers Place, operating 11 locations within the venue. Those outlets handled 6,600 transactions during the game, 35% of which came from fans exiting the arena after the Oilers’ victory, which set up a Stanley Cup Final matchup with the Florida Panthers. Sunday night’s top-selling items at Rogers Place were Western Conference Finals Locker Room Champions t-shirts (827 sold); Western Conference Finals Champions hats (481); and Fanchains (353).
