The ATP named Pac-12 SVP/Brand Marketing, Communications & Social-Digital Media ANDREW WALKER SVP/Brand & Marketing. Based in the ATP's London office, Walker will report to CBO DANIELE SANO and oversee the tour's global brand strategy and marketing efforts. He previously served as Exec Commercial Dir at the ITF and CMO at the WTA. CAA assisted the search for Walker ( Rob Schaefer, SBJ ).
LiveCo named Raptor Sports Capital Partner CHUCK STEEDMAN President & CEO. Steedman brings with him experience gained from a variety of key exec roles, including serving as AEG Facilities Chief Operating & Development Officer and ASM Global EVP/Strategy & Development. He steps into the role previously held by BRIAN BECKER , who has been CEO of LiveCo since co-founding the company with the $16B private equity fund Waterland back in Nov. 2021 ( LiveCo ).
CAA named ALEX MCGUIRE to “oversee the firm’s sports media representation efforts throughout the U.K. and Europe.” McGuire will report to CAA Sports Media Group co-heads MATTHEW KRAMER and TOM YOUNG and will “help guide and grow the agency’s representation of sports broadcasters and on-air talent overseas.” McGuire joined CAA Sports in 2023 and previously spent a decade at YMU Group, where he “represented some high profile U.K. sports broadcasters as head of sports media” ( VARIETY, 4/17 ).
The NWSL named NBA Associate VP/Global Partnerships MATT SOLOFF SVP/Business Development. He will report directly to Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer JULIE HADDON . Soloff started with the NWSL earlier this month. While with the NBA, he led various business development and strategy initiatives including the development of the league’s commercial interests around its first ever In-Season Tournament ( NWSL ).
The Tennis Channel named TiVo EMEA Senior Sales Dir MATTHIAS HAHN GM of the network’s German-language platforms. As the network’s first Europe-based exec, he will build a local exec team in Munich and oversee the growth of Tennis Channel in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Hahn begins this week and reports to SVP/International & Programming ANDY REIF ( Tennis Channel ).
KemperSports named Troon VP/Operations RYAN PHELPS to the same role. Phelps will oversee KemperSports’ growing portfolio of properties across the Northeast ( KemperSports ).
United Way of Tarrant County named TCU play-by-play broadcaster BRIAN ESTRIDGE Dir/Development for Community Investment. In this newly created role, Estridge will cultivate relationships with individual and institutional donors, working to unite philanthropic support for UWTC’s programs to support thriving communities. He will continue to serve in his role with TCU ( UWTC ).
