Nike continues to ride high above the competition as the leading outfitter and shoe provider for the NCAA Women’s Tournament. The brand, along with its affiliate Jordan Brand, comes into this year’s tournament repping 41 of the 68 teams in the field, down slightly from last year’s record total of 44 teams. That total includes three of the four No. 1 seeds along with nine other schools with top 4 seeding.

Under Armour’s sponsorship representation remained unchanged from last year with nine schools. The brand has two teams with top 4 seeding positions including No.1 overall seed South Carolina and No. 2 Notre Dame. Adidas saw a slight uptick in sponsored teams making the tournament, but only saw two schools with seeding inside the top 4 in No. 3 N.C. State and No.4 Indiana.

Along with the normal big 3 sponsorship brands, this year’s women’s tournament also features a Cinderella-story sponsorship as well, with New Balance as the outfitter for No.15 Maine.
